The Early Tea Bag Wearers – Updated

This is a re-posting of an earlier video produced by Keystone Progress.  The people in these videos will eventually staple tea bags to their hats and refer to themselves as “tea baggers”.  When they found out what the term “tea bagger” meant, they got their panties in a knot and now call themselves  “bigots”.

It’s a reminder of how all this hatred and racism towards Obama began.

Things have not gotten better.  The hatred, racism and violence has only gotten worse.

UPDATE:  The people in the above videos are the ones that cling to their guns and Jesus while living in the parts of Pennsylvania that either will be or are already open to gas drilling (fracking).  Soon, these people will be seeing this when they turn on their faucets…

Brought to you by the generation that marched to end a war, worked for a cleaner and healthier environment and gave us the first Earth Day and women’s liberation and marched and fought for equality and civil rights for everyone.  Health care wasn’t a big issue then because doctors spent time with their patients and didn’t get involved with insurance companies telling them how to do their job.  This was before Nixon invented HMO’s which was the beginning of the end of quality health care.

Looking around now and it seems like very little has changed.  The country is still divided just like it was back then.
