It could be anyone of the above mentioned people.  Does Romney pal around with terrorists?

So They Want to Dismantle the Federal Government

Watch the video at this Daily Kos Diary.  It’s a gathering of the Tea Party members and they speak of seceding from the Union.  They mention withholding federal taxes and eliminating Congress.

Sounds like the Tea Partiers want a Federation instead of a Union.  That would take us back to before 1787.  Each State would have its own money and army and navy and would be able to make its own trade agreements.  We tried this before and it became chaos.  Now who exactly will protect these Tea Partiers from a foreign invasion?  There are nations on this planet that would love to take advantage of invading such a weak Federation.  This Federation of States needs to understand one thing and that is those States that remain in the Union, keep the Nukes and all the other weapons.  The Federation is on its own.  Good luck with that.

Just how long will these “snow top” Tea Partiers remain in the Federation once they lose their Social Security and Medicare?  Or will they come back begging to join the Union?

Enough Of This

I’ve had enough of the Republicans and their lapdog media yapping about  Nancy Pelosi and what and when she was told about torture in 2002.   These Republicans and media pals have memories shorter than a worm’s.  It was Dennis Hastert (R) that was Speaker of the House in 2002 and he led the actions or better yet, led the inactions of Congress during the Bush/Cheney years.  Nancy Pelosi was not in a position of power during the Republican dominated Congress.  There was little that she could do at that time.  It was the responsibility of Dennis Hastert to speak up against torture.  Instead, Hastert and the Republicans in Congress along with their friends in the media turned their backs on the Constitution and the American people and did nothing.

Ultimately, however, the greatest horror of Hastert’s House was not confirmed by its specific failures to serve the American people who most needed a Congress to counter the malignant neglect of the Bush-Cheney administration. Rather, it was defined by the remaking of an essential legislative chamber as nothing more than an extension of the executive branch of the government. The damage to the Congress has been severe, as has been the damage to the Republic.

All this talk about Nancy Pelosi is a diversionary tactic by Republicans that are guilty of negligence.

Hastert’s House was a crude and unworkable place, where members who sought to uphold their oaths to “defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic” were held up to ridicule and forced to hold hearings on issues involving the most extreme abuses of presidential authority — lying to the Congress and the American people about matters of war and peace — in basement rooms.

So what exactly did Dennis Hastert know about torture?  When did he know it and why didn’t he do something about it?  Nothing more than Republican lies.  I’ve had enough of it.

The right wing has their knickers bunched up tight giving them a wedgie over comments made by a comedian regarding Rush Limbaugh and yet, Cheney’s daughter tells the press that President Obama sides with terrorists.

(CNN) — Liz Cheney is picking up where her father left off when it comes to taking aim at the Obama administration, saying Tuesday the new commander-in-chief appears to be siding with terrorists.

Who is she to speak like this?  Her statement is disrespectful of the President.  She is probably worried that her father, Dick Cheney, will be tried for “war crimes” so she is trying to direct the focus away from her criminal father by making false accusations against President Obama.

“I have heard from families of service members from families of 9/11 victims this question about when did it become so fashionable for us to side, really, with the terrorists,” she continued. “You know, President Obama has a lot of rhetoric about support for American military families, support for our men and women who are fighting for us overseas. But if he really cares about them, then he wouldn’t be making such an effort to release photos that show them in a negative light.”

Late last month, Pentagon officials said the hundreds of photographs released are from more than 60 criminal investigations from 2001 to 2006, and show military personnel allegedly abusing detainees. But the officials rejected allegations by the American Civil Liberties Union that the photos show a systemic pattern of abuse by the military. (emphasis mine)

Of all people to talk.  Draft dodger, Dick Cheney has no respect for members of our service.  If he did, he would not have supported sending them off to fight in a war based on lies just so that his oil investments could make more money.  It doesn’t get any lower than the Cheneys’.

CPAC – The Anti-American Movement

Listen to Tom Delay.  Sounds like he wants to start a civil war.

Joe the Plumber words border on dometic terrorism.  Where’s the Patriot Act when it is needed?  Shouldn’t Homeland Security be keeping an eye on this guy?

The attendees and speakers at CPAC only believe in “free speech” when it relates to them.  Everyone else, just better stfu.

Why does the audience find a nuclear attack on Chicago to be funny?  Do these anti-Americans really want to kill other Americans?

Is Palin Guilty of Treason? – UPDATED

Why was she a guest speaker at this year’s AIP Convention? And she goes on to praise this anti-American group. Treason???

Sarah Palin accuses Obama of treason when at the same time she shows her support for an organization that enlisted Iran to help spread anti-American sentiment. I would consider that aiding and abetting the enemy. But then again, Republicans are allowed to commit treason without consequence. Karl Rove set the precedent when he exposed the name of a covert CIA Agent and never paid the price for his act of treason.

When someone at a Palin rally shouted “treason” and she remained silent, that is indicative of her approving that statement. She also supports the assassination of a candidate by not condemning the shout of “kill him” during one of her rallies. Her silence and smirk makes her complicit to hate mongering.

After learning more about the AIP, I can now understand that Sarah Palin’s is comfortable in stiring up racism and hate when she speaks.

The Republican ticket is working hard this week to make Barack Obama’s tenuous connection to graying, ’60s revolutionary Bill Ayers a major campaign issue. But the Palins’ connection to anti-American extremism is much more central to their political biographies.

Imagine the uproar if Michelle Obama was revealed to have joined a black nationalist party whose founder preached armed secession from the United States and who enlisted the government of Iran in his cause? The Obama campaign would probably not have survived such an explosive revelation. Particularly if Barack Obama himself was videotaped giving the anti-American secessionists his wholehearted support just months ago.

Where’s the outrage, Sarah Palin has been asking this week, in her attacks on Obama’s fuzzy ties to Ayers? The question is more appropriate when applied to her own disturbing associations.

There is a group of Republicans and former Republicans that are forming an organization to support Barack Obama’s bid for the White House. They have been holding telephone conference calls. Former Senator Lincoln Chafee has left the Republican party and is endorsing Senator Barack Obama. Another surprising name on this list is Douglas Kmiec. Professor Kmiec was co-chairman of Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign’s Committee for Courts and the Constitution.

In an e-mail, Kmiec said he has been in contact with the Obama campaign, adding: “I think you’ll see a fairly well-designed website to begin; after that, I’m not sure if there will be print ads and such and how tightly the surrogate speaking will be coordinated.”

Sources say the Obama campaign effort will probably not occur until after the selection of a vice presidential candidate and the Democratic convention.
Susan Eisenhower, granddaughter of President Eisenhower and a self-described “lifelong Republican,” was also on the call with the Obama campaign, which she said took place in recent days.

Eisenhower states that today’s Republican Party is not at all like the Republican Party of her grandfather, Dwight Eisenhower. A former adviser to President Reagan is also considering endorsing Barack Obama.

Texas businessman and former Marine Jack Holt said this year would be the first time he has ever voted for a Democrat to be president. Holt endorsed Obama in 2007 after supporting McCain and Bush years ago. He cited the Iraq war and fiscal responsibility as the main reasons why some Republicans are crossing over.

The “Destroyer” who calls himself the “Decider”, boy Bush, has even managed to tear apart the Republican Party. He did so with the help of his pals, traitor Rove and barnacle Cheney.

The Republicans can have self-centered Joe Lieberman. We Democrats don’t want him. All Lieberman wants is war and more war so he is the perfect partner for “endless war” John McCain.

All the intelligent Republicans are getting on board with Barack Obama. They are able to recognize the real leadership that Obama will bring to the Presidency.

And what’s McCain’s strategic adviser traitor Karl Rove going to do? He already has shown the Democrats all the tricks that he has in his book. And unless he can prove me wrong, Karl Rove is responsible for committing treason by exposing a covert CIA operative, Valerie Plame which jeopardized the security of the United States. During the American Revolution, Karl Rove would have been hung by the neck from the nearest and strongest tree branch.
