The Early Tea Bag Wearers – Updated

This is a re-posting of an earlier video produced by Keystone Progress.  The people in these videos will eventually staple tea bags to their hats and refer to themselves as “tea baggers”.  When they found out what the term “tea bagger” meant, they got their panties in a knot and now call themselves  “bigots”.

It’s a reminder of how all this hatred and racism towards Obama began.

And remember “monkey man”?  Thanks again to Keystone Progress for being there and capturing the truth.

Things have not gotten better.  The hatred, racism and violence has only gotten worse.

UPDATE:  The people in the above videos are the ones that cling to their guns and Jesus while living in the parts of Pennsylvania that either will be or are already open to gas drilling (fracking).  Soon, these people will be seeing this when they turn on their faucets…

I Want My Country Back

Yes, you heard me.  I want my country back… back from the Tea Party and the big corporations that financially support them.  I do NOT want my country to return to the Tea Party and Republican principles of:

  • Repealing the Civil Rights Act because the central Government should not tell States how to treat American citizens.
  • Eliminating the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.  Women should not be voting.  They don’t have time for politics because they need to be in the kitchen cooking and they should be waiting on their husbands.  The bible tells us that women are subservient to men.
  • Returning to slave labor and sweat shop labor practices because businesses should be free to abuse their employees without Government interference.
  • Dismantling Social Security because seniors should have planned better for their retirement.  Too bad and too sad if Wall Street bankers stole most of their IRA money.  Tough luck if the seniors worked at jobs that didn’t have a pension program or 401K program.  If these seniors worked for minimum wage, they still should have thought ahead even if it required providing less food and clothing for their children so that they would have that extra money to save for their retirement.  Some Republican candidates are claiming that Social Security is unconstitutional.
  • Dismantling Medicare because health care is not a right, it is a privilege and the Tea Party does not approve of privileges except when it comes to their idols and themselves.  Besides, only the privileged deserve health care.
  • Eliminating disability payments because people need to be more responsible and not get injured on the job.  This includes our military veterans.  They should stop whining because after all, they volunteered.
  • Forcing Catholics, Jews and Muslims to commit sins by having to read and study the protestant bible in public schools.
  • Allowing property owners to create toll roads.  People have a right to collect money from anyone that crosses their property line.  Good luck with getting to work on time and having any money left over from your paycheck after paying all the tolls.
  • Supporting “Second Amendment” solutions as a means of conflict resolution.  This might also work as a method of population control.
  • Returning to the glory days of lords and serfs.

I want my country back from hate mongers like Beck, Palin, Limbaugh, Malkin, Kristol, Bachmann, Rove, Cheney, and all the rest that appear on Fox News, the opinion network.  The goals for these people are to divide our country and to make piles of money while undereducated people do their dirty work for them.

I want my country back from racists such as Beck, Laura Schlesinger, the Tea Party and the Larouches.  These people are so upset because there is a black family living in, what they perceive as, the White(‘s only) House.

I want my country back from people that profit from the suffering of others (Beck, Palin and Limbaugh).

I want my country back from politicians that place Wall Street above and before Main Street, such as Pat Toomey, Tom Corbett, Jim Gerlach and all the other Republicans and Tea Party members.

Yes, I want my country back.  The one where everyone is treated with respect and  equality, the one where everyone receives good health care, the one where everyone receives a livable wage, and the one where everyone is free to practice their religious beliefs without interference from other religions.

I want back, the country that was progresing forward.  Not the one that is currently heading in Reverse.

The Three G’s

Glenn Beck claims it’s all about the three G’s… God, Gold and Guns.

Let’s take a good look at what is presented in the New Testament.

  • Jesus was a poor man so he would never have had access to gold.
  • Jesus was a peaceful man so he wouldn’t have been carrying weapons.

Using Beck’s logic,

If Jesus had access to gold, he could have bought off the money hungry Pharisees.

If Jesus had access to weapons, he would have been able to kill his opponents and therefore he would not have been crucified.

Without the crucifixion, Glenn Beck and the Fundamentalists wouldn’t have a religion.

So, is it God, Gold and Guns or is it poverty, peace, pacifist Jesus?

Strange that the very people that promote terror and murder will never accept responsibility for their words.  Of course, these promoters of terror and murder would never commit a direct act themselves and are very aware that there are crazy people in the world that will do their dirty work.

Anyone Want A Cracker?

Just how would the media react if the head of the DNC defended a song titled “Bush the Idiot Cracker”?  Sounds like a racist title to me.  Yet, Tennessee Republican Chip Saltzman defends the RNC sending out a CD to its members that include a song titled “Barack the Magic Negro” among several other songs.  Saltzman seems to think that members will recognize this as satire.

From CNN:

“I think most people recognize political satire when they see it,” Tennessee Republican Chip Saltsman told CNN. “I think RNC members understand that.”

The song, set to the tune of “Puff the Magic Dragon,” was first played on conservative political commentator Rush Limbaugh’s radio show in 2007.

Its title was drawn from a Los Angeles Times column that suggested President-elect Barack Obama appealed to those who feel guilty about the nation’s history of mistreatment of African-Americans. Saltsman said the song, penned by his longtime friend Paul Shanklin, should be easily recognized as satire directed at the Times.

The CD sent to RNC members, first reported by The Hill on Friday, is titled “We Hate the USA” and also includes songs referencing former presidential candidate John Edwards and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, among other targets.

According to The Hill, other song titles, some of which were in bold font, were: “John Edwards’ Poverty Tour,” “Wright place, wrong pastor,” “Love Client #9,” “Ivory and Ebony” and “The Star Spanglish Banner.”

Saltzman was once the national campaign manager for Mike Huckabee and he once held a position under the “cat killer”, former Senator Bill Frist.

This CD demonstrates the blatant racism and elitism of the Republican Party. It would be interesting to get a reaction from Colin Powell or Condolleza Rice on this. If the Repubicans want to keep marginalizing themselves, they should send this out to all the media. I mean, why hold back, if this is just ‘satire’?

More Hatred from McCain-Palin Supporters

This time the threats were made by the McCain-Palin supporters in Miami, FL.  Two men wearing Obama shirts and carrying Obama signs were surrounded by angry McCain-Palin supporters and one of the men had his life threatened.  Five thirty eight has the complete details.  This is “brown shirt” behavior.  Seems like the McCain-Palin supporters want to dismantle part of the Constitution by taking away Obama supporters freedom of speech.  This is how the Nazis started in Germany.  First, Germans lost their freedom of speech, then Hitler blamed the Jews, then the blacks, then the gays and then anyone that was not German for Germany’s economic problems.  The Nazis built internment camps and approved of torture and killed anyone that disagreed with them.  Now I’m not saying that McCain and Palin are promoting Fascism.  Their supporters certainly appear to be fans of Fascism.

This is a dark time in our nation.  We must come together or else our nation will perish.

Sarah Palin – Energizing the Evangelicals

Dobson’s “Focus on the Family” group is joyful over John McCain’s choice for vice president, Sarah Palin. She is their dream come true.

Recently, a flyer was sent to Evangelicals that stated that if Barack Obama is elected president, then Armageddon would happen. What the flyer neglects to tell these Evangelicals is that Sarah Palin practices a religion that believes in the “End Times” and that she is hoping for the “Rapture” to happen in her lifetime. Her church in Wasilla, AK, teaches its followers to prepare for the final coming of Jesus and that Alaska is where they need to be for the Rapture. It’s coming soon, if they can help it.

Her minister says that she approaches people with respect… well… she certainly doesn’t show respect when she refuses to admonish hate speech at her rallies.

I don’t believe that Sarah Palin’s religious beliefs reflect those of most Christians. You see, Sarah Palin preaches hate as evidenced by her support of hate speech at her rallies. She smiles when someone in the crowd shouts “kill him” or “terrorist”. A true follower of Jesus Christ would have responded like Barack Obama did when people booed at the mention of John McCain’s name. Obama shook his head and said to the crowd, “Now we don’t need any of that here.” Sarah Palin preaches divisiveness by stating that there are only certain Americans that are proAmerica. Barack Obama speaks of unity by stating that we are all Americans and we all love our country.

Jesus brought us the Gospel of Love and taught us that we are all equal in the eyes of God and that we are all brothers and sisters. Real Christians don’t spread hate and prejudice. Listen to this video posted earlier today. Jesus never told his followers to kill someone nor did he approve of killing. Jesus said, “turn the other cheek” which is something that Barack Obama does all the time. No candidate has received so many hate filled threats as Barack Obama and yet he brushes this hatred off. He follows his Christian faith, something that all these racists and haters should learn to do.

I’m not afraid of having Barack Obama as our next President and Joe Biden as our next Vice President. What truly frightens me is “more wars, less jobs” John McCain as President and one 72 year old heartbeat away, “end times” Sarah Palin waiting in the wings.

Racism in Pottsville PA

You can always tell the difference between a Republican and a Democrat. The Republican is the one with the hate speech and the Democrat is the one with the hope speech. It almost looks like more Obama supporters at the rally than McCain supporters. These rally goers are shackled by fear and that is why they latched onto the hate filled lies about Obama. They have so little in their lives and this fear and hatred makes them feel alive. The one woman said “It’s my country, too.” Well, I have news for her. It’s my country, too, and we have had 8 years of her country and just look at the f**kin mess her president created. Wars that we cannot afford and a destroyed economy. McCain will not help these “guns and Jesus” people pay for their health insurance nor will he help them get jobs that pay a living wage. Instead, McCain will tax their health insurance and continue to support policies that send good paying jobs oversears. It really is sad for these people. This is what happens when people don’t receive a proper education. They feed their ignorance with hate and violence.

My choice? I choose HOPE over HATE.

Learn the truth about Barack Obama’s faith at Matthew 25.

Reverse Bradley Effect ??? Is The Southeast Actually In Play For Obama???

Get your popcorn ready on election night… Again I will insist that an Obama win is now almost certain… Up to 95% according to the models I use.  The question is becoming how big will this win be ???  I mentioned in my last Full Electoral College Breakdown how a landslide win (375+ EC votes) was possible, what if I told you that states that many have written off got Obama to that mark ???  After the primaries I had indicated due to high African American turnout that I though states in the southeast were in play for Obama, particularly MS and GA with the Bob Barr effect perhaps much more the reason in GA.  I had gotten away from that idea after the “Palin bounce” but recent polling and a new study about the Bradley effect is making me re-think that these are indeed Safe McCain states.  I’ll get to that study in a second but first lets start with some numbers… We’ll begin in Mississippi…

Polls of this state have been sparse due to the fact its a safe Republican state…. In fact since 9/1 there have only been 3 polls done here, one by ARG who’s accuracy I question… on 9/9 Research 2000 did a poll indicating a +12 McCain win.  This was at the height of the Palin bounce for the red team… But by 9/30 the last poll done in MS the VERY Republican tilted Rasmussen had MS in the McCain column at +8.

Since that time there has been no more polling in MS and the more trusted polls like Survery USA haven’t been there at all.

My thoughts on MS at the end of the primary were that with a 35% voting public that is African American that in theory Obama would need to only get 20% of the white vote to win this state.  Now comes the kicker… a recent study on the Bradley effect shows that in some parts of the country there is a reverse Bradley effect…

The Bradley effect–a black politician doing well in the polls but badly in the actual election–has been much discussed but there is little data on how it would work this year. Now a team of researchers from the University of Washington has analyzed the data from the 32 Democratic primaries this year and come to a surprising conclusion. The effect existed in California, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, but a reverse effect existed in 12 other states, largely in the Southeast. Obama did better in the elections there than in the polls leading up to them. Researchers speculate that some people may tend to give pollsters the “socially correct” answer and in the Southeast, supporting the white person is socially correct.

Hmmm is the only thought that comes to mind on this issue… now on to Georgia…

Where along with a high African American turnout likely also come these to “B” words… “Bob Barr”

This state has been polled more and by other companies first I’ll start with Survery USA 9/15 poll showed McCain up +16, but by 9/29 that lead had been cut in half by Survery USA to +8 most polls this month have been in the McCain +7-+8 range with an error % of 5 %… add in Bob Barr stealing votes from McCain especially if he alienates more true conservatives and this possible reverse Bradley effect and Election Night could be very interesting indeed. On 10/9 there was a McCain plus 3 poll for GA as well.
