Even though 85% of Americans want the Government to keep their hands off of Social Security, the Republicans are looking forward to getting their greedy hands on our money and handing it over to their friends on Wall Street.  Remember, Wall Street stole our 401K money and how former President Bush immediately called for the Government to bail out his rich friends on Wall Street.  The TARP money, Wall Street bailout was President George W. Bush’s plan to save our economy.

One more thing, if the Bush tax breaks for the rich was meant to create jobs as the Republicans claim, then why was there a net loss in jobs during the Bush years?  If these tax breaks really created jobs, there wouldn’t be a 9.5% unemployment rate.

Republicans are like the street scammers with the walnut shells.  Always up to tricks to take your money and make themselves rich.

Social Security keeps 20 million Americans out of poverty.  If the Republicans get a hold of this money, 20 million more Americans will be living in the streets.  We cannot afford a Republican controlled Congress.  Vote Joe Sestak for Senate and Manan Trivedi for the PA 6th Congressional District.  Re-elect Patrick Murphy.  These Democrats got our back.  They are all veterans that served our nation with honor and put their lives on the line to protect Americans. They walk the walk and deserve to continue to fight for us in Washington DC.

Pay attention:  Pat Toomey supports oil drilling in Lake Erie.  Yes, Pennsylvania shores along Lake Erie can look like the oil covered beaches of Louisiana.

Health Care Savings

Thanks, Democrats, for passing health care reform.  Medicare will save $8 billion by the end of 2011.  This is information that Republicans, like Pat Toomey, don’t want you to know.

The new health overhaul law is starting to produce savings for Medicare and will eventually add more than a decade of solvency to the program’s trust fund, the Obama administration said in an upbeat report released Monday.

Medicare will save about $8 billion by the end of next year, and as much as $575 billion over the rest of the decade, the report said.

“This reflects the priority we put on acting quickly to secure Medicare’s future,” Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told reporters. “We are going to ensure that seniors and Americans with disabilities get more value when they go to the hospital or to see a doctor.”

Read the complete article here.  You will be pleased to learn that health care reform was the right thing to do.  Keep in mind, if Pat Toomey gets elected, he will work hard to repeal health care reform along with dismantling Social Security.  Seniors will be the biggest losers if Pat Toomey goes to the Senate.  Pat Toomey is supported by big corporations and Wall Street Bankers and he will work to keep tax breaks for the rich while increasing taxes on the middle class and seniors.

Toomey refused in the interview Thursday to take absolute positions on taxes and said every option must remain available to lawmakers who tackle programs such as Social Security and Medicare — including increasing the retirement age for seniors.

Refusing to take a position means that he doesn’t want you to know the truth about where he stands and when every option is available, then dismantling Social Security is on the table.

Toomey Says…

Get a job, you lazy bums.  Too bad and too sad that unemployment benefits ran out.  So what if you sent out over 100 resumes without even getting a call for an interview.  Tough luck.

No surprise here.  Toomey, like the rest of the economic royalist Republicans want YOU to give him a job and he wants YOU to pay for his health care benefits.  Pat Toomey is a member of the Club for Growth which is an ECONOMIC ROYALIST organization.  If you don’t have millions of dollars, then you can’t join.

If you are better off today because of the SPEND, BAIL OUT, TAX BREAKS FOR THE RICH ONLY Republican policies of the past, then you will love what Toomey has to offer.  If you are on Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, then you better start stashing money under your mattress because Toomey wants to HAND OVER ENTITLEMENT MONEY to the Wall Street bankers.  You know which ones I’m talking about.  The CEO’s that STOLE YOUR MONEY from your 401K.  They got BIG BONUSES while YOU LOST MONEY.

Joe Sestak has a better plan.  He will protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid from the economic royalists.

What Small Businesses Don’t Need

I’m a small business owner and Republicans have NEVER done anything to help my business.  If my business was a large corporation, it would be a different matter.  The “Club for Growth” is only about helping corporations at the expense of small businesses.  If you vote Republican in November, then big corporations win and you lose.

What Republicans Are Really Saying

Republicans hate regulation so they will do anything and everything to dismantle regulations.  According to the Republican philosophy, we don’t need to regulation green house gases.  And Pat Toomey, the “Wall Street Warrior”, while serving on the House Banking Committee, helped write a resolution which lead to the repeal of parts of the Glass-Steagall Act that protected American’s financial investments.

Toomey’s first order of business as a freshman congressman: getting some good committee work. His Wall Street credentials—as well as the Republican majority—helped him score a seat on the House Banking Committee, where he sits on the Capital Markets, Securities and Government Sponsored Enterprises subcommittee as well as the Domestic and International Monetary Policy subcommittee. Toomey has already helped draft House Resolution 10, a proposal to roll back some of the Glass-Steagall legislation of the 1930s. Not surprisingly, Toomey is virulently opposed to unnecessary regulation. “The trend in deregulation, beginning in the early 1980s, is one of the biggest reasons for the sustained economic expansion,” he says. “I would like to see us continue to deregulate on many fronts, including the financial services industry.”

And what of the much-ballyhooed hedge fund regulation talk emanating from Washington lately? “It’s not clear to me that the problem with Long-Term Capital Management requires new regulation,” he says. “I think we need to continue to work on understanding what really happened there and what the magnitude of the threat to the infrastructure of our financial services industry was. Frankly, I think that the outcome was appropriate. The equity investors lost everything—and under the circumstances that had to happen—but the bailout essentially worked. I would be very leery about, and I will resist, any effort to impose inappropriate regulations as a knee-jerk reaction to what was a big problem but was essentially solved.”

The bottom line is this:  Republicans are against regulations (Banks, Oil/Gas Industries).  However, when deregulation creates problems (Bank Failures, Oil/Gas accidents, pollution), then Republicans want the taxpayers to bailout the banks and pay for the environmental clean up.

Pat Toomey is just another Republican that supports deregulation and he would have voted “Yea”, in favor of the bank bailouts.  After all, Toomey would not have wanted to place any hardships on his friends in the banking industry or on Wall Street.

Yikes!  Pat Toomey hates seniors.  He is against health care reform which will begin to close the doughnut hole in Medicare Part D and make medications cheaper.  Pat Toomey wants seniors to pay more for their drugs.

Pat Toomey hates American workers.  He would prefer to send our jobs overseas.

• Toomey argued free trade would create jobs, while acknowledging that workers might be “displaced.” While Toomey supported free trade policies so that American products could be bought in global markets, he also acknowledged that American workers would be “displaced” and should receive help. “It’s very important for jobs in the Lehigh Valley,” Toomey said. “Lucent can export more chips, Air Products can sell more gas and chemicals overseas, and it means Victualic can sell more overseas.” [Morning Call, 12/5/99, 1/21/00]

Looks like “Corporations” are not wasting time in supporting Pat Toomey for Senator from Pennsylvania. Check it out… the biggest sponsor is Caterpillar, yes, the one and the same that laid off hundreds of Americans and sent their jobs to China.

Pennsylvania needs jobs and Toomey won’t be bringing jobs to Pennsylvania. Toomey will be looking for the best bargain for corporations and if that means sending jobs overseas, well, then so be it.

Take notice Tea Party members and Patriot Party members, Pat Toomey will be supporting the “Corporate” agenda if elected. The only tea bags that Pat Toomey will be touching will be the ones he drops in his cup of tea. If the Tea Party and the Patriot Party want someone to represent their best interests and not that of corporations, then they better come up with a candidate because Toomey is already owned by Caterpillar.
