UPDATE:
Dobson’s “Focus on the Family” group is joyful over John McCain’s choice for vice president, Sarah Palin. She is their dream come true.
Recently, a flyer was sent to Evangelicals that stated that if Barack Obama is elected president, then Armageddon would happen. What the flyer neglects to tell these Evangelicals is that Sarah Palin practices a religion that believes in the “End Times” and that she is hoping for the “Rapture” to happen in her lifetime. Her church in Wasilla, AK, teaches its followers to prepare for the final coming of Jesus and that Alaska is where they need to be for the Rapture. It’s coming soon, if they can help it.
Her minister says that she approaches people with respect… well… she certainly doesn’t show respect when she refuses to admonish hate speech at her rallies.
I don’t believe that Sarah Palin’s religious beliefs reflect those of most Christians. You see, Sarah Palin preaches hate as evidenced by her support of hate speech at her rallies. She smiles when someone in the crowd shouts “kill him” or “terrorist”. A true follower of Jesus Christ would have responded like Barack Obama did when people booed at the mention of John McCain’s name. Obama shook his head and said to the crowd, “Now we don’t need any of that here.” Sarah Palin preaches divisiveness by stating that there are only certain Americans that are proAmerica. Barack Obama speaks of unity by stating that we are all Americans and we all love our country.
Jesus brought us the Gospel of Love and taught us that we are all equal in the eyes of God and that we are all brothers and sisters. Real Christians don’t spread hate and prejudice. Listen to this video posted earlier today. Jesus never told his followers to kill someone nor did he approve of killing. Jesus said, “turn the other cheek” which is something that Barack Obama does all the time. No candidate has received so many hate filled threats as Barack Obama and yet he brushes this hatred off. He follows his Christian faith, something that all these racists and haters should learn to do.
I’m not afraid of having Barack Obama as our next President and Joe Biden as our next Vice President. What truly frightens me is “more wars, less jobs” John McCain as President and one 72 year old heartbeat away, “end times” Sarah Palin waiting in the wings.

When your driving around, you will notice that there are several McCain/Palin signs or just Palin signs on peoples lawns. Where are all the Obama signs? Well, if you don’t have the Obama/Biden sign nailed to a fence or tree or close to your house, a Republican will steal it. For some strange reason, these Republicans think that if an Obama/Biden sign isn’t present, people won’t vote for Obama. Stupid fools. What the Republicans aren’t telling you is that the McCain/Palin signs were handed out to all the Republicans that promised to vote for McCain/Palin. All the other houses without signs are voting for Obama/Biden and the number of houses without signs far exceeds the number of houses with McCain/Palin signs.

Get up, get moving.
This is worst than Putin grinning at Palin from the shores of Russia because there are terrorist threats happening right here in this country. It is the McCain campaign having Americans viciously attacking other Americans. Jackbauer8393 has the latest on the robo calls in western Pennsylvania. This racism is ugly and has no place in this nation.
What is with Sarah Palin’s latest talks? She is happy to be with “proAmericans” in small towns. What does that make all the other Americans that live in urban and suburban areas? We are pro “what????” in Palin’s mind? She has no room to talk about proAmerica because her husband Todd was a member of an anti-America group, the Alaska Independence Party.
For the last 8 years, the politics of this nation has been neighbor against neighbor, yelling at each other over the fence. Now we have Sarah Palin pitting Americans against Americans. This nation is in an economic crisis that is SO very dangerous that the US economy is teetering on the edge of a precipice and could easily fall over the edge into oblivion. If we want to survive as a nation and regrow our economy, ALL Americans must work together. We cannot continue with the politics of divisiveness and expect our economy to recover. The McCain/Palin campaign is stoking the fires of hatred among it’s supporters. This hatred is so putrid that the non-supporters of McCain/Palin will never join them and our nation will continue with 4 more years of divisive politics without economic growth.
The Obama/Biden campaign tells us that we are ALL Americans. There are no Red States. There are no Blue States. There are no proAmerica small towns and antiAmerica cities and suburbs. We are all proAmerica and if the McCain/Palin campaign doesn’t want to consider us ALL proAmerica, then they don’t deserve our vote because the President of the United States governs ALL Americans and not just the small number of people that Sarah Palin describes.

I also didn’t want to post in haste over the past few weeks I wanted to wait til the conventions in their bounces were over. But McCain (of course) had to go way way out in left feild for his VP selection. Which got the media all hyped and of course polls refelcted this, but we have a appeared to have come back down to reality now. The economic crisis that is unfolding have brought the issues back to the front of this race. BUt for all the percieved “trouble” that Obama was in in regards to the national tracking polls over the past weeks. In reality the Electoral College map still stayed in Obama’s favor. The best John McCain could come up with was a 269-269 tie in EC. That to me has spoke volumes, now that silly time is over, and real issues at least should, stay at the front of the race from here on out. I now put the odds of an Obama victory at nearly 80%. The media tried scaring us into believing that John McCain had a chance… quite simply barring a disaster this race is OVER. You will hear about the whole % 2 Obama lead in the polls could lead to Dem’s who say over the phone tehy’ll vote for Obama but in the booths they will not. You may hear how Conservative base is coming out energized by Palin and while Palin’s nomination helped secure this thing from getting out of hand as in a Blue Crush it will not stop the Barack Train. The fact of the matter is there are so many young people that are going to vote it will more than make up for these so called “Closet Dem Racists”. Come election night this will be obvious early on. It didn’t happen in 2000 or 2004, but I assue you the youngins are coming this time and their not voting for John McCain. This swell of young people are being completely missed by the polls at present, there is no accurate model for what is going to occur. Also African American participation is going to be ridiculously high, much higher than being modeled now in the polls. This effect will be seen early and often but it will be confined to certain regions and not others.
First we have to deal with some things that have changed since my last analysis. Palin’s nomination hast taken Alaska out of play for Obama… Also my possible southern switch isn’t going to occur in places like Georgia. I’ll be giving the high plains are of the country back to McCain but in the places where it matters this again is over.
Baseline Maps (Starting with Johnny Mac)
*WV is not represented in the number on the image above (even though it is colored in) real McCain number is 174
As can be seen I think John McCain has only secured 174 votes in the Electoral College, the Palin selection will help in some places that were not secure before Alaska, Montana, North Dakota and as said before I have delusions about Georgia anymore, also a noteable change in MO, I know they are used to selecting Presidents there but the streak will be broken (and if there was a Presidential Election for this to happen in, it will be this one)… I do believe this state though will represent the closests of McCain’s victories. But in the end lingering issues of race and Palin will push McCain over the top here. One are where I’ve given McCain the edge is in Nebraska, now remember the EC votes are split up here two for the winner of the state and three according to congressional district. District 2 is very much in play for Obama due to the fact it is the urban center for the state… So watch for fun and games here.
Moving on to “O”
Don’t miss this…
- “She’s not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president?” said Green, a Republican from Palin’s hometown of Wasilla. “Look at what she’s done to this state. What would she do to the nation?”
Joe Biden IS ready on day one. John McCain’s choice for VP has to be sequestered for two weeks and sheltered from the press because they know they made a mistake.
Barack Obama and Joe Biden and all the millions of supporters wear their American Hats everyday. We don’t need a hurricane for us to change hats. We put Americans and America first, always.
