How many PUMAs does it take to change a light bulb?
A reader of my blog who knows I’m a HUGE “FAN” of the PUMA movement issued me the following challenge: to write a joke: “How many PUMAs does it take to change a light bulb?”
I always did like a good challenge. Okay, here goes:
How many PUMAs does it take to change a light bulb?
One to declare there are 18 million pairs of hands ready to change it right now
One to declare Donna Brazile and the DNC tampered with the socket
One to start a website: Just Say No Darkness
One to start another website: PUMA (P.U. to Mental Agility)
One to alert the media there’s a huge movement to hold onto their favorite stepladder
One to buy a bus and stick a lot of “sun” decals on it
One to declare they’ve raised millions to reduce the utility bill
One to go on Hardball to admit they’ve actually only raised 50 cents
One to declare they will NEVER vote for using the elitist “high energy stress reliever bulb”!
And one to have the bright idea to change the bulb in Denver!
Okay, so how many is that?..
…I’m still trying to figure out Mountain Time.

The PA 6th Congressional District and PA 17th Congressional District Delegates have safely arrived in Denver along with their spouses.

Here are some pics from Sunday. We arrived in Denver about 12:30 in the afternoon and it was a beautiful day. Got to our Hotel at about 2 and were on a bus headed to a reception by 4 We took a bus up into the mountains and eat and drink until 7 and then a free concert started with Cheryl Crow, Sugarland (Country) and Dave Matthews. We got back about midnight and were up at 5:30 because our internal clocks haven’t adjusted yet. I am sending 2 e-mails because of number of pictures.
Here’s the Delegates. They look excited!
