Important Information

If you don’t know the location of your polling place, then go to Barack Obama’s website by clicking on this link

If we are looking towards the future for this nation, then the choice is clear.  Only Obama/Biden have policies and plans to move our nation forward.

If we want to revisit the past and keep things just like they are, a failing economy and more wars, then vote McCain/Palin.  The McCain/Palin policies and plans will move our nation backwards.  John McCain is a backwards thinking person, trying to relive his life and Sarah Palin is a “Diva” who is only thinking about HER OWN FUTURE and not our nation’s future.  Oh, and by the way, Sarah Palin is a “Pinko”.  Read what she had to say a few weeks before her nomination to the VP spot.  Socialism is good for Alaska but not the rest of the nation.

Sarah Palin is Pretty in Pink

I don’t know about anyone else, but I could use a little help with my health insurance premium and my business would benefit if more people had decent paying jobs and it’s about time that I get a tax break, just like Bush gave to the richest people in our nation and McCain plans to make permanent.  John McCain and Sarah Palin want to relive the Reagan years where my TAXES INCREASED and big corporations received my tax break.  Reminder… the Reagan years were the Union busting years and as a result, many workers have lost benefits.

McCain/Palin – benefit BIG CORPORATIONS and LOBBYISTS

Obama/Biden – benefit MIDDLE AMERICA

Let’s start moving our nation forward.  Vote Obama/Biden ’08.

And just for the fun of it… visit Millard Fillmore’s Bathtub for some laughs.

What are you waiting for…

This video is from the primary and I thought I would re-post it because the song is catchy and we need to get excited again.

It’s getting closer and closer to the general election and I will be busy volunteering for the Obama campaign so I might not be posting as much. I’ve been given the assignment of “data coordinator” which sounds like an important name but it’s just a title with a lot of work to do.

There is still a lot of work to do and the Obama campaign needs your help. Please consider volunteering. Even 1 hour/day or one or two evenings/week will be extremely helpful. Maybe you can help with voter registration on the weekend at a public event or at the local college or maybe you can do phone banking or like me, become a “data coordinator” 🙂 . Every little bit helps.

We need ‘Change’ and Barack Obama and Joe Biden will bring the change that this nation so badly needs.

Change is coming, change is coming…

Shouts John McCain. Here’s what John McCain has been saying:

“Change is coming, change is coming,” McCain promised, projecting an image of independence and political populism.

One of his challenges is to separate himself from the unpopular incumbent in the White House and fight against Obama’s charge that a McCain presidency would amount to a third term for Bush.

“On the core issues, the economy and the war, he has been joined to Bush at the hip,” said Democratic pollster Mark Mellman. “On the other hand, Bush is a lead weight dragging him down. He has to rely on rhetoric to separate (himself) but he can’t separate himself on policies important to the American people.”

A Mother of Five

There are various reasons why someone will support and vote the Obama/Biden ticket.  A mother of five, a life long Republican, is taking this election very seriously and she took a long, hard look at all the candidates.  She did her homework by researching each one’s position on issues and she watched both the Democratic and Republican conventions paying particular attention to the speeches presented by the nominees for Vice President and President.  A letter that she composed was posted on My2Buck$ .  This is a very thoughtful and objective letter.  It’s long and well worth reading.  John McCain and Sarah Palin are losing the moderate Republicans.
