I Want My Country Back

Yes, you heard me.  I want my country back… back from the Tea Party and the big corporations that financially support them.  I do NOT want my country to return to the Tea Party and Republican principles of:

  • Repealing the Civil Rights Act because the central Government should not tell States how to treat American citizens.
  • Eliminating the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.  Women should not be voting.  They don’t have time for politics because they need to be in the kitchen cooking and they should be waiting on their husbands.  The bible tells us that women are subservient to men.
  • Returning to slave labor and sweat shop labor practices because businesses should be free to abuse their employees without Government interference.
  • Dismantling Social Security because seniors should have planned better for their retirement.  Too bad and too sad if Wall Street bankers stole most of their IRA money.  Tough luck if the seniors worked at jobs that didn’t have a pension program or 401K program.  If these seniors worked for minimum wage, they still should have thought ahead even if it required providing less food and clothing for their children so that they would have that extra money to save for their retirement.  Some Republican candidates are claiming that Social Security is unconstitutional.
  • Dismantling Medicare because health care is not a right, it is a privilege and the Tea Party does not approve of privileges except when it comes to their idols and themselves.  Besides, only the privileged deserve health care.
  • Eliminating disability payments because people need to be more responsible and not get injured on the job.  This includes our military veterans.  They should stop whining because after all, they volunteered.
  • Forcing Catholics, Jews and Muslims to commit sins by having to read and study the protestant bible in public schools.
  • Allowing property owners to create toll roads.  People have a right to collect money from anyone that crosses their property line.  Good luck with getting to work on time and having any money left over from your paycheck after paying all the tolls.
  • Supporting “Second Amendment” solutions as a means of conflict resolution.  This might also work as a method of population control.
  • Returning to the glory days of lords and serfs.

I want my country back from hate mongers like Beck, Palin, Limbaugh, Malkin, Kristol, Bachmann, Rove, Cheney, and all the rest that appear on Fox News, the opinion network.  The goals for these people are to divide our country and to make piles of money while undereducated people do their dirty work for them.

I want my country back from racists such as Beck, Laura Schlesinger, the Tea Party and the Larouches.  These people are so upset because there is a black family living in, what they perceive as, the White(‘s only) House.

I want my country back from people that profit from the suffering of others (Beck, Palin and Limbaugh).

I want my country back from politicians that place Wall Street above and before Main Street, such as Pat Toomey, Tom Corbett, Jim Gerlach and all the other Republicans and Tea Party members.

Yes, I want my country back.  The one where everyone is treated with respect and  equality, the one where everyone receives good health care, the one where everyone receives a livable wage, and the one where everyone is free to practice their religious beliefs without interference from other religions.

I want back, the country that was progresing forward.  Not the one that is currently heading in Reverse.

The Fox and the Crazy Man

The “Fox” would be Fox Opinion Network and the “Crazy Man” would be Glenn Beck.

Unless someone can prove me wrong, there is a strong probability that Glenn Beck suffers from Schizoaffective Disorder, sub-group Bi-Polar.  Beck’s mother committed suicide and Beck made an attempt at suicide.  He cries and then he rants and raves and displays delusional thinking which includes paranoia and conspiracy theories.  Studies suggest that there is a genetic component to this disorder.  Glenn Beck may also be suffering from Thought Disorder.  There is a possibility that Michele Bachmann suffers from the same Though Disorder.

Unless someone can prove me wrong, Sarah Palin displays many of the behaviors of Thought Disorder as evidenced by Circumstantiality and Schizophasia (Word Salad).  Beck, Palin and Bachmann when speaking in public, often exhibit Speech Derailment.

I just hope that Beck’s head doesn’t explode on TV.  Since health care reform has passed and is now the law of the land, someone please, keep the razor blades away from Michele Bachmann.

Campaign Economy Elections McCain Obama Opinion Palin Poll Vote Voting

Obama Landslide Victory In The Making

Just another quick update on my electoral college analysis, since my last update there has been some changes and of course we’ve had two debates.  There are also have been some changes in my thinking as the blue wave is starting to to build yet again.  With 30 days out it appears to me that this election is over, Americans are worried about actual issues instead of the silly stuff. McCain basically imploded and Palin isn’t enough to save him, it just gave a temporary reprieve to his campaign for a time.  The chance of an Obama victory in the Electoral College nwo stands at a 90% chance.  The chance of an Obama Landslide (375 EC votes +) has leaped from <5% to now 24%.  But I would put his max performance in reality around the 350 range.

McCain has abandoned Michigan, PA finally is pulling away for Obama.  This is seen below in a combined safe votes map.  I’ve turned PA and MI blue.  NM also is steady Obama and NH isn’t that close anymore.  This added 47 more votes to Obama’s safe count.  McCain on the other hand has lost his safe grip on MO and surprisingly MT. Also Obama is making apuch for that one EC vote in NE around Omaha that I’ve been talking about for so long.  This is obvious because Sarah Palin was sent there to campaign there.

McCain’s main strategy now appears to be to defend bush states, but obviously doens’t have the angle or the resources to go after any Kerry states any more.  Obama is just 5 EC shy now of his 269 win/tie, while Johnny Mac needs 101 more votes.  There are 9 toss up states and anyone win for Obama except for one (MT) gets him the presidency.  Big changes to my projection for Election night.  Polling in VA and NC has been very good for Obama so at this point I have to say he is the favorite there.  McCain will hold on in MT and MO and thats it (In is a true 50/50 filp), everywhere else will go to Obama.  The missed polling of younger voters will more than over take any Bradley effect and any state where McCain doens’t have a lead now he will lose.  If his attacking Obama through smears goes badly which it might, the status of MO, MT, ND, and IN might flip and deliver the true landslide.  (I gave Obama that 1 EC vote from NE)  This makes a ceiling for Obama of 382 EC votes.

I will update again after the next debate and after seeing how the negative attacks play out.

Of the Obama states I have down for a final the most in play for McCain to take back would be OH (less likely) economic issues too much here and NC.  The most likely McCain state to fall would be IN as said before.  NV is almost in Obama’s safe map by the way.  There are just way too many states for McCain to defend and Obama has way too many assets, even Carl Rove is predicting an Obama vicory as of today.

Palin is now running for President

In speech in Ohio, Palin placed herself first on the ticket with McCain running second. How insulting.

Wonder if John McCain will fire her like he did Fiorina.

Notice Todd standing behind her, smiling and clapping.

Woohoo! Palin/McCain

Todd Palin, the Shadow Governor

Todd Palin and his wife Sarah Palin
Todd Palin and his wife Sarah Palin

Who is watching and caring for the children? As Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin has a busy schedule. She also has 5 children to care for. It is not uncommon for a family to have a working mother and a stay at home father. Todd Palin has a seasonal job and when he is not working at his $100,000/year job, he is lurking in the halls of Alaska’s Capitol building in Juneau. Both the Palins are in Juneau at the same time. Who is at home in Wasilla taking care of the children? Is this a family that only looks like a family during photo opportunities?

And what exactly is Todd Palin doing during the time he spends in Alaska’s Capitol building? What is the purpose of Todd Palin being copied on official Governor’s email messages? He is not an elected official.

Is Sarah Palin just a ‘prop’? Is Todd Palin really a “shadow” governor? This would mean that Palin never fully managed the business of Governor of Alaska without the assistance of her husband, someone that was NOT elected by the residents of Alaska. Sarah Palin may NOT have the executive experience that she claims. It may be Todd Palin with all this executive experience.

Read the full story at Salon.com.

…some in Alaska have referred to him as the “shadow governor” — has raised questions about whether a Sarah Palin vice-presidency would hand the same type of backstage power to Todd, and what that might mean in the running of the U.S. government.

Is Todd giving Sarah advice regarding the oil pipeline? What was he doing at this official government meeting?

Andrew Halco has questions about Todd Palin, too. Todd is not a government employee, yet he gets copied on emails that are being withheld due to “Executive Privilege”.

If Sarah goes to Washington, how much “Restricted Confidential Information” will Todd be viewing?

Folks, this is frightening.
