Glenn Beck claims it’s all about the three G’s… God, Gold and Guns.
Let’s take a good look at what is presented in the New Testament.
- Jesus was a poor man so he would never have had access to gold.
- Jesus was a peaceful man so he wouldn’t have been carrying weapons.
Using Beck’s logic,
If Jesus had access to gold, he could have bought off the money hungry Pharisees.
If Jesus had access to weapons, he would have been able to kill his opponents and therefore he would not have been crucified.
Without the crucifixion, Glenn Beck and the Fundamentalists wouldn’t have a religion.
So, is it God, Gold and Guns or is it poverty, peace, pacifist Jesus?

We know the answer Cats. What ever he can get the most propaganda from and it sure as hell isn’t reality and the truth.
If Jesus was “poor,” why did Judas “keep the bag” and steal out of it.
If Jesus was against violence, why did he counsel his disciples to buy a sword?
Why did he specifically deny that he came to earth to bring peace but rather a sword?
Just asking.
Try reading it all, next time.
Live by the sword, die by the sword. If your Jesus is all about death and destruction, then he has no appeal to me. Judas received the “bag” from the Pharisees and not Jesus. Please provide the verse and number where Jesus supported using the sword. Make sure it is the real bible and not the new conservo bible.
Interesting that you are still sneaking around here. Bet you are afraid that your taxes are going to increase. Then again, you probably won’t be making more than $250,000.00 so you will benefit from Obama’s tax break.
