The Internet chatter lately has been about Congressman Joe Sestak replacing Senator Arlen Specter as Pennsylvania’s candidate for US Senate on the Democratic ticket in 2010. Right now, this seems like a good idea.
Listen to what Congressman Sestak has to say here… and the link to his website can be found here…
Pennsylvania voted for “Change” last November and so far, Specter has not voted for change.

Although not nearly as noxious as even some of the dems (Ben Nelson, anyone?,) I agree that it is probably time for Specter to to gentle into that good night of political expiration.
Nebraska has to remove Ben Nelson. Pennsylvania needs to replace DINO Specter with a real Democrat.
We should not forget that Senator Specter voted “Yes” on George W Bush’s budget, voted “Yes” to invade Iraq, voted “Yes” for these right wing judges, Thomas, Roberts and Alito, and when it came time to vote for President Obama’s budget, Specter voted “No” and he will not support a health care plan that will provide insurance for all Pennsylvanians.
Specter has been in Congress too long. He is a life-long politician and it’s time for him to retire at the proper age of 80.
Soecter’s vote isn’t goning to help that much. It’s time for the old Bushite to go!
There I go not checking my spelling first.
Although Soecter may fit somehow, it was supposed to be Specter…..but you probably knew that already.
Cats, get rid of this guy!!!:

Bruce – we will do our best to beat him in the 2010 primary. Specter is not a Democrat and should not be on the general election ticket as a Democrat.
Another thing… Specter has been talking crazy lately. He may want to visit his Oncologist and get another examination. This Norm Coleman statement is off the wall. Could Specter be showing the early symptoms of brain mets? He sure is talking like it.
If you read the comments on HuffPo voting Dems like you and me want Specter out. I think he’s going to have a hard time winning the Dem primary. Time for him to retire.
