Cats – economically America is neck deep in number 2.
Most people I know who ‘have money’ spent last week purchasing Treasury Bills.
You don’t get much returns on your money but it’s safe. The alternative is to take your money out the bank and put it in a safe.
The rest of the world must be looking at America and shaking their heads.

Paulette – about 2 months ago, my broker that is managing my IRA called me and asked if it was okay to purchase treasury bonds. She knew that I opposed the war but she felt the bonds were the best investment at the time. I contacted her last Monday morning and she told me that my money was safe. She’s a great person. We think a lot alike and we have the same interests and values.
Yeah, I’m afraid this is only the beginning. We need Obama to win. On Friday, he reminded me of FDR when he spoke at his press conference. He is so wise. Solomon should be his name.
