How many PUMAs does it take to change a light bulb?
A reader of my blog who knows I’m a HUGE “FAN” of the PUMA movement issued me the following challenge: to write a joke: “How many PUMAs does it take to change a light bulb?”
I always did like a good challenge. Okay, here goes:
How many PUMAs does it take to change a light bulb?
One to declare there are 18 million pairs of hands ready to change it right now
One to declare Donna Brazile and the DNC tampered with the socket
One to start a website: Just Say No Darkness
One to start another website: PUMA (P.U. to Mental Agility)
One to alert the media there’s a huge movement to hold onto their favorite stepladder
One to buy a bus and stick a lot of “sun” decals on it
One to declare they’ve raised millions to reduce the utility bill
One to go on Hardball to admit they’ve actually only raised 50 cents
One to declare they will NEVER vote for using the elitist “high energy stress reliever bulb”!
And one to have the bright idea to change the bulb in Denver!
Okay, so how many is that?..
…I’m still trying to figure out Mountain Time.

Cats, I just had to go to one of their PUMA blogs to find out if they wrote about encountering Chris Matthews. Read and laugh:
Just got back from our Union Station rally in front of the MSNBC tent. We STOLE the show! Chris Matthews was there; David Shuster was there — Riverdaughter was leading the charge and had everyone chanting No We Won’t!, What does democracy look like? This is what democracy looks like! Sexist Pig (to Chris Matthews himself!) HILLARY! Will post photos as they come up.
P.S. And the Anne Coulter one is Darragh Murphy, the PUMA queen. She’s as nutty as Coulter.
Oh, so that is Darragh Murphy. She’s a Republican, isn’t she? No wonder she looks like Ann Coulter. Coulter is probably her role model.
Actually I found the video and it wasn’t Murphy. But is her physical type. Yeah, she was barking at Matthews like a nutball. They’re all about conspiracy but never willing to reveal their “sources”. Who cares?
Anyway, in response to you… yes, Michelle Obama was extraordinary tonite. Blew me away. I too, had tears in my eyes. So real, so genuine, so heartfelt. A true American. I’m proud of the Obamas. They represent us and we need them in the White House!
A friend of mine called me after the speech, saying can you imagine Cindy McCain conveying any of that? No is the short answer.
