Swiftboating part deux?

I definitely feel Barack Obama is being swiftboated over Reverend Wright’s latest comments. Why is he guilty by association? Why isn’t the media also focusing on the fact that Reverend John Hagee has made equally if not more outlandish comments? Why aren’t they harpooning John McCain too? Check out this commentary by Adrian Walker, of the Boston Globe:

I think we need to do everything in our power to phonebank for Barack this weekend. Even ten calls are better than none. Go to in.barackobama.com or nc.barackobama.com to get a list and make some calls! Most of us get free weekends on our cell phones. Let’s let the folks in Indiana and North Carolina know how much we support Senator Obama and how important it is for him to be the Democratic nominee for President.

I personally thought that Hagee’s comments were much more offensive than Wrights. His theory that Hurricane Katrina devasted New Orleans because of a ‘gay pride’ parade that was to be held that Monday are not only ludicrous but immensely offensive even to heterosexuals.
