You know, as Republican as my Mom was, I really think she would have been an Obamican. It’s a shame she’s not around to see the changes taking place.
I remember Neil Young’s version of Imagine when they televised the concert for the victims of 9/11, Mom and I sat there and cryed. It’s a real moving rendition, especially in that context.
Maybe I’ll post that version at another time. My father loved this song and yet he couldn’t stand the Beatles and was shocked when I told him who wrote the song and who was singing this song.
