Yes, this is the typical salary for the CEO of any health insurance company. No one is worth that much money, yet the health insurance industry uses the premiums that is collects to pay these exorbitant salaries and to pay for lobbyists to protect their interests. In the meantime, people that have insurance are denied care.
We need real reform with a public option, now, before another 44,000 Americans die in one year because they can’t afford health insurance. What the health insurance industry is doing to Americans is a crime.

I’m now sick of so-called healthcare reform. I fell over the edge last night when I read that the insurance companies were going after the pro-insurance company Baucus bill.
And the Democrats complained about the study instead of bashing the insurance companies.
BTW, the top lobbyist for these vermin is Karen Ignagni who brings in well over 1 million per year.
It’s been many months since I’ve been this angry.
