this was just hilarious.
Hi Cats — I’m glad that Maher cleaned up some of the stuff he said last week. I was a little miffed at him. Comparing President Obama to Lindsey Lohan??? That was crazy. Obama is on TV giving ‘updates’ if you will. He’s trying to keep pressure on congress to let them know that they need to pass some of these bills because he has the people on his side and the only way to keep the people on his side is to keep them engaged and let them hear the words coming out of his mouth – not his words being re-interpreted by pundits and talking heads.
Obama being filmed getting a burger or taking his wife on a date is not his fault. The media follows him everywhere he goes and the media chooses to air what they broadcast — that’s the media being on over drive because they don’t want to do research and cover real news..
Anyway, what Maher said in this clip is correct, our Democratic congress persons need to get off their azzes and do what the people want them to do. As President Obama has said, ‘we won’. Therefore the Democrats should have the balls to pass the bills that the majority of Americans want.
We want health care for all — and we MUST get it passed. If not now, when???
